AARON CERRONE *Owner/Head Instructor*	Aaron has been training in the martial arts since the age of 11. His studies began in karate under Sensei Tim Hoover, since then he has trained in the arts of Aikido, Kali, Silat, Boxing, Thai-style Kickboxing, Submission Wrestling, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, JKD Concepts and Jun Fan Gung Fu. Aaron holds instructorships under Sifu Marc McFann in Unified Fighting Arts, Sensei Erik Paulson in Combat Submission Wrestling and Sifu John Cammarata in Progressive Fighting Arts.
Aaron has a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the United States Air Force Academy, a Diploma in Fitness and Nutrition from the International Correspondance School, and a Master of Human Relations Degree from the University of Oklahoma. He is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA). Aaron is an accomplished freelance writer having been published in Black Belt Magazine. Aaron remains active in the Air Force Reserves as well.
ED SHOBE BJJ Coach Ed is a successful competitor in both Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu having competed at the national and international levels. He is a Brown Belt in BJJ under Rodrigo Vaghi. Ed was a member of the U.S. National Muay Thai team earning a spot to compete in the Prince's Cup. . Ed is owner of Viking Vending here in Omaha and works extensively with Children's Square.	JEFF OGG Youth & Phase Instructor Jeff has been with Mid-America since nearly our inception. He is the lead instructor for our youth classes and assists with Phase class as well. Jeff continues his training in Kickboxing, Kali, Jun Fan Gung Fu and JKD Concepts. He is an Apprentice Instructor under Sifu Marc McFann. Growing up Jeff took part if both judo and wrestling. Born and raised in Omaha, Jeff is a graduate of South High and currently works for Packers Engineering and Equipment.
ANTHONY 'AC' CARLSON *BJJ Coach* Anthony is a purple belt in BJJ under Rodrigo Vaghi. He is one of the most active and decorated BJJ competitors in the MidWest. AC is a graduate of Bellevue East HS and UNO. He is a computer programmer by trade.	MELINA CANIGLIA Muay Thai & Youth Instructor Training at Mid-America since the age of 17, Melina is a mauy thai practioner and has won the Thai Boxing Association's U.S and North America Amateur Bantamweight Titles. She is also the 2009 & 2010 TBA National Tournament Champion. She assists teaching our youth students and adjult muay thai classes. Melina is a graduate of Westside HS.
KYLE NORDSTROM *BJJ Coach* Kyle is a purple belt in BJJ under Rodrigo Vaghi. He is an active competitor in both BJJ and MMA.	KELSEY WISINSKI Youth Instructor Kelsey has been training at MAMA for roughly 2 years and actively competes in muay thai. She is the 2010 TBA Tournament Champion. She is a graduate of Skutt Catholic and is a student at UNO.
JOEL MICKELLS Muay Thai Instructor Joel has been actively training and competing in muay thai, bjj, and mma for several years. As an amateur he compiled an impressive 7-0 muay thai record and 9-3 mma record. He is a 2-time TBA Tournament Champion and held the Fury Fights 135lb title.	CHESSA HALL Muay Thai Instructor Chessa has been training muay thai for roughly 3 years and instructs our women's muay thai classes. She is the 2008 TBA Tournament Champion.
